Today, I was forced to be brave and try a new food. I'm one of those people that cringes when I have to try a new brand of chips, let alone try something I've never eaten before. I was "invited" (forced) on this adventure today at the Asian market...
I say I tried a new food, when the reality is that I tried 3 new creatures.
Hello squid!
Not just squid, but dried shriveled chewy squid.
Also, I tried something that I can't pronounce, but it was white chewy bread with some sort of meat in the middle. I'm not even sure I want to know what's in it.
Last adventurous food? Some sort of leafy thing with a strange mush in the middle... I think the little clerk mentioned something about monkey, but I can't be sure.
I'll be back again soon with another adventure......
